‘Be the Light’: The Illuminator Movement Calls for Reformation Across Every Sphere of Influence

A new leadership framework translates faith-led formation into practical responsibility across business, government, education, media, arts, family and faith.

26 September 2026 — The Illuminator Movement today released a practical framework for leaders who want to carry enduring values into the places where culture is formed.

The framework identifies seven spheres of influence: business, government and policy, education, media, arts and entertainment, family and faith. Rather than treating influence as personal visibility, it defines influence as a trust to be stewarded through decisions, institutions and relationships.

The question is never whether the spheres will be led. They always are. The question is by whom, and formed by what. Reformation enters culture through leaders whose private integrity can carry public responsibility.

In business, the framework calls for profitable enterprises that treat people with dignity and resist growth that destroys families or convictions. In government, it points to service, courage and incorruptibility. In education, it prioritises the formation of whole people. In media and the arts, it calls for truth, beauty and meaning over reach at any cost. In family and faith, it asks leaders to live privately what they profess publicly.

The movement situates this work within two major shifts: an estimated $84 trillion intergenerational wealth transfer and a technology-led renaissance reshaping industries and access to influence. It argues that both shifts will amplify the character of those who receive their resources.

That is why the order matters. The Illuminator Movement teaches: be forged, then be the light. Identity before strategy. Character before platform. Stewardship before scale.

Every leader has already been given a sphere. The work is not to chase a larger stage. It is to become capable of carrying light into the place already in your hands, and to build there for the generations to come.

Faith-led

We build with God at the centre.

The Illuminator Movement is a faith-led movement. We believe every good thing — wealth, influence, talent, time — is entrusted, never self-made, and given to be stewarded well. Profit is a tool. Legacy is the assignment. You do not have to share our faith to belong here, but you should know what we are building on.

Much has been entrusted to this generation. Much will be required of it.
