I was raised to build for generations — and called for a time such as this.

Coming from well over 100 years of family legacy, as one of the most prominent pioneering families in regional NSW, I learned early that building is for excellence, community development and lasting impact — hard work, sacrifice, responsibility, wealth creation and legacy. I learned that substantial things are built over time, and that what is created must ultimately be stewarded. My first business endeavour began at 14. More than 20 years later, the expression of my work has evolved, but the vision has remained consistent: build something meaningful, use influence for good and leave something worthy for generations.

By the age of 22, I had stepped into the role of CEO within my family’s property development business and helped lead the enterprise into a multi-eight-figure company. That experience gave me a first-hand understanding of what it takes to build at scale: commercial strategy, leadership, resilience, wealth creation, long-term thinking and the responsibility that comes with influence. I had the business, the freedom, the travel, the recognition. On paper, everything I had been told to chase was mine. But it also raised a deeper question that would not leave me alone: what is wealth for?

I had done everything I was told would make me enough, and an ache underneath the wins was louder than ever. There was a ceiling success could not break — one no amount of achievement, money or experience could reach. The ache was not a strategy problem. It was a question of meaning, and meaning was the one thing no course, no philosophy and no experience could hand me. I went looking — through personal development, through every framework that promised the next experience would finally be the one. Each gave me a piece of language, a moment of clarity, and then the same hollow. I was reaching for truth without knowing where truth actually lived.

I found Jesus, and in Him the hurt, the pain, the things I did not understand about people, about my purpose, about how to live a meaningful life to the end were finally expressed and met. He helped me learn a blueprint for leadership — how to faithfully live as the person He created me to be, until the end. Jesus met me, and I finally received something I had been looking for all my life — people, wisdom, clarity about my identity and purpose, and how to truly live out my purpose from here with the Word of God illuminating my path.

Meeting Jesus taught me how to discern the times, test what is true through the Word of God and recognise deception in an age of accelerating technology and AI. He continues to form the character I need to steward money, influence and visibility above reproach — with peace, wisdom and faithfulness to the end.

Long before I built an international profile, I was using my voice locally. In my early twenties I stepped into community and business leadership in regional NSW — business advocacy, youth leadership and development initiatives, representing community and business interests through leadership organisations and the media. I learned early that leadership was not simply about having a position. It was about representation, about being willing to speak, about advocating for people and bringing important conversations into rooms where decisions were being made. That conviction has remained one of the strongest threads of my career: influence is something to steward.

After my years in property development, I founded my own consulting business and began translating my entrepreneurial experience into a new body of work — helping other entrepreneurs build businesses and brands of their own. My work became known for combining premium positioning, personal brand, business growth, identity and social impact. Rather than treating purpose and profit as competing ideas, I built a philosophy around bringing them together: purpose plus profit plus philanthropy. I became a strategist and catalyst for entrepreneurs who wanted to build commercially successful businesses without sacrificing what mattered most to them. The work ultimately expanded beyond business strategy. It became a movement.

The Illuminator is the culmination of my own journey — what I learned through building, leading, failing, rebuilding, finding my voice, navigating adversity and becoming increasingly clear about the responsibility that comes with influence. Illumination is not about standing above people. It is about helping people see who they are, what they carry, what is possible, the opportunity in front of them — and then having the courage to build from that place. Today I lead The Illuminator Movement as its CEO and Founder, working with established founders, entrepreneurs and leaders ready to build with greater clarity, authority, impact and alignment. The work sits at the intersection of identity, brand, wealth and impact.

My work has taken me across six continents as an international speaker, mentor and entrepreneur. I have authored six books and become a six-time international bestselling author, using writing and speaking to expand conversations around entrepreneurship, leadership, identity, influence and impact. My work has been featured across more than 100 publications and media platforms, with recognition including FOX’s Top 20 Entrepreneurs on the Rise and Disrupt Magazine’s Top 7 Women Paving the Way of Success, Forbes Australia features, and Women Changing the World Awards recognition in both the Emerging Leader of the Year and APAC coaching categories. I have been featured in New York Times Square, my book was featured in the Oscars hampers, and the Duchess of York personally recognised me as a woman changing the world. But I have never viewed recognition as the destination. Every platform is an opportunity to amplify the mission.

I learned that achievement alone cannot form the wisdom, peace or character required for a life of consequence. If you believe God has given you gifts and visions, and you want to faithfully fulfill the highest potential of who you are here to be — whilst staying true to who God created you to be, even as we live in these interesting times — that is the work. For me, that foundation is Christ. Building from the Word of God has not diminished my ambition; it has given it order, responsibility and a horizon beyond personal success.
